Scrum half Lloyd Williams insists Cardiff Blues must play with confidence when they face Benetton Treviso in the Guinness PRO12 at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on Friday night (kick-off 7.05pm).
Cardiff Blues suffered a narrow loss to the Italians when they met in the league at Stadio Monigo last month.
However, Wales international back Williams believes on home soil the Cardiff Blues must back themselves and go all out for a crucial victory.
He said: “I wasn’t involved in the away game but I watched it back and we missed opportunities. We should have scored three or four tries but they all got held up.
“It is one of those games where you keep thinking you are going to come away with the win. But it frustrates you and things get away from you.
“I am pretty confident we can get that win this weekend and we owe them one. We have to play with confidence and back ourselves to do a job in front of our own fans.”
