Women | 1st April 2021

Four Cardiff Blues stars are set to pull on the red shirt of Wales in their Women’s Six Nations opener against France on Saturday.

Playmaker Robyn Wilkins will make her first start in the number 15 jersey, having primarily featured at outside half, and moves within a cap of her half century.

She is joined in the side by club team-mates Georgia Evans and Manon Johnes, who make up the back row alongside captain Siwan Lillicrap.

Prop Cerys Hale is also named amongst the replacements for head coach Warren Abrahams’ first competitive fixture.

Donna Rose, Jess Roberts and Megan Davies are all in line to make their Test debuts against the 2020 runners up.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Welsh regions have not been in action this season, but the 23 selected for the trip to Vannes have all represented clubs in the Allianz Premier 15s this season.
