Wales keep faith with squad for crunch quarter final clash

International | 18th October 2019

Warren Gatland has named his side to take on France in Sunday's Rugby World Cup quarter final clash at Oita, with four Cardiff Blues players involved in the matchday squad.

The head coach has kept faith with the starting line-up that defeated Georgia and Australia, meaning Josh Navidi wears the number eight jersey while the tournament's joint top try scorer, Josh Adams, is retained on the wing and maintains his streak of starting every game during the campaign.

Tomos Williams and Dillon Lewis, who have also featured in every game, are named amongst the replacements alongside fellow academy products Rhys Carré and Rhys Patchell.

Captain Alun Wyn Jones moves level with Brian O'Driscoll in third place on the all-time international appearance list.

The Cardiff Blues clubhouse will be open to ALL for a live showing of Sunday's encounter, with breakfast rolls available and buy one get one free on bottles of Heineken.
