Under 16s: Blues North v South Derby Tonight At Arms Park

11th November 2008

Having been beaten last time out, by the Scarlets, Blues North under 16s will be looking to take a step closer to the final of the WRU Age Grade Championship this evening at Cardiff Arms Park.

However, standing in their way, will be the Blues South, fresh from last week’s victory over North Wales and desperate to keep alive their hopes of reaching the final.

The game is definitely on as the pitch has not suffered any adverse effects despite the rain we have received recently.

The two sides have already met once this season, back in September, when the North scored three tries to one to win 20-5.

Jonathan Elley, Darren Harris and Jack Dando were on the mark that night with Harry Robinson scoring a consolation for the south.

North coaches Dale McIntosh and Lee Jarvis will be hoping to secure a second win over their rivals, at Cardiff Arms Park, whilst making up for the 21-10 defeat at the hands of the Scarlets two weeks ago.

The Ospreys, who went down 41-15 to the Scarlets two months ago, will be on the lookout for revenge this evening when the sides meet in the reverse fixture, at Llandarcy.
