Following the announcement of the 2014/15 LV= Cup fixtures on July 25, the Welsh Regions, WRU, Premiership Rugby , RFU and LV= Organising Committee have come to an agreement regarding the arrangement of Round 1 fixtures for the Welsh Regions, which clash with the Guinness PRO12 Round 7.
The amends to the LV= Cup are as follows:
- Gloucester Rugby, Ospreys, Newport Gwent Dragons and Exeter Chiefs' Round 1 fixtures will swap with their respective Round 3 fixtures. Please see amended listings below.
- This will enable Ospreys v Newport Gwent Dragons and Cardiff Blues v Scarlets, both Round 1 matches, to move to 14/15/16 November weekend whilst they honour their Guinness PRO12 games on the 1/2 November weekend.
Cardiff Blues will now play against Scarlets at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on Friday, November 14 (kick-off 7.30pm) and away to Newcastle Falcons on Friday, November 7 (kick-off 8pm).
The LV= Organising Committee would like to thanks all parties for their co-operation in this matter, particular to those Premiership clubs which have agreed to rearrange their respective fixtures.
