Resolutions approved ahead of General Meeting

Cardiff Blues are pleased to inform its shareholders that the company has received the required support to approve the resolutions due to be tabled at tomorrow’s general meeting.

In accordance with the Companies Act 2006, the support of the holders of 75 per cent of voting shares is required to pass a special resolution and 50 per cent to pass an ordinary resolution.

We have now received support from the holders of  81.4 per cent of voting shares by way of returned proxy votes or irrevocable undertakings to approve all resolutions.

The General Meeting will still take place tomorrow as a procedural matter with a Supporters Forum, which will include an exclusive shareholders session, confirmed for January 16.

Following the meeting on January 16th, chairman Alun Jones and chief executive Richard Holland will present the company’s three-year strategy and address any questions with all supporters and stakeholders welcome.
