CARDIFF BLUES LAUNCHED
Chief Executive, Robert Norster, revealed the identity and image for the new Cardiff region earlier this month. The launch, staged at the Hilton, attracted a vast number of guests, including famous names from the past and present, corporate partners, governing body representation and supporters, plus large scale media interest.
Robert Norster said,

Following the success of the launch, Cardiff Blues will be hosting a Corporate Open Day at the Arms Park on Friday 18th July, from 11am to 2pm.

During August, Cardiff Blues host mouth-watering opposition in the shape of Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints, which will provide an early test of the strength in depth of the new Cardiff Blues' squad.
On Friday 22nd August, the eve of the Wales v England match, the Leicester Tigers will be seeking to avenge the defeat handed to them on their last visit to the Arms Park in 2000.
A week later, on Friday 29th August, the Blues will face their traditional rivals, Northampton, following their clashes last season.
