Peikrishvili receives six-week suspension

Cardiff Blues can confirm Anton Peikrishvili has been handed a six-week suspension at a disciplinary hearing in Bristol this evening.

Peikrishvili was charged for acts contrary to good sportsmanship, contrary to Law 10.4(m) and pleaded guilty.
 
The prop was sent off by referee Ben Whitehouse in the Anglo Welsh Cup match between Cardiff Blues and Ospreys for biting Rob McCusker of Ospreys. The incident occurred in the second half of the match. 

Peikrishvili was given a six-week suspension which was backdated to Tuesday 22nd November. He is free to play again on Monday 2nd January.
