Cardiff Blues U18 have a great opportunity to consolidate their position at the top of U18 championship table when they meet the Dragons at Abergavenny RFC, venue changed from Virginia Park Caerphilly RFC due to poor weather.

The Blues won the September contest 27-14 at Sardis Road scoring a bonus point in the process. The Blues have made four changes to the team that comprehensively beat the Ospreys 35-3 with Rhys Dyer, Chris John, Sam Warburton, and Scott Andrews all starting.

Blues regional performance manager Gafyn Cooper commented, "it is important that the players don’t get carried away with their recent results, and take each game as it comes. We have a talented group of players at this level and the main focus for us is player development where winning is the buy by-product of the individual and unit skill development that takes place at are weekly training sessions."
