Martyn is chosen as the Supporters' Club player of the year

Blues Captain Martyn Williams has been named as the supporters club player of the year for 2004-05.

The international flanker played 17 times for the Blues last season and turned in a number of fantastic displays for both region and country.

Currently on tour in New Zealand with the Lions, Martyn has already made two appearances out of three games so far, and was named as Player of the Championship for his outstanding performances during Wales' victorious RBS 6 Nations campaign.

Fellow Flanker Robin Sowden-Taylor who has just returned from the recent Wales tour to America, was voted most improved player. Robin also played 17 times for the Blues during the normal season. To cap an excellent year, he made his international debut for Wales against Italy, completing the "Magnificent Seven" Blues players to play for Wales in the 6 Nations 2005.

In the Cardiff Premier Division team Number 8 Dan McShane, was the supporters' club player of the year.
