Live showing of Lyon v Cardiff Blues at Cardiff Arms Park on Sunday!

Cardiff Blues supporters are encouraged to head down to Cardiff Arms Park on Sunday, for a live showing of John Mulvihill's side's long-awaited return to the Heineken Champions Cup.

Wales' Capital Region are set to dine at European rugby's top table once again, and open their campaign with a trip to the Stade de Gerland, where they face Lyon OU, who currently sit third in the Top 14 table.

Lyon's squad contains a number of experienced internationals, including Liam Gill, Delon Armitage, Alexis Palisson and Jean-Marc Doussain.

The game will kick off at 1.00pm BST, and the Cardiff Arms Park clubhouse is open to all. The bar will be open for refreshments, and there will also be food offerings available.

Don't forget that European rugby's premier competition returns to Cardiff Arms Park a week later, as Cardiff Blues host Glasgow Warriors on Sunday, October 21 (KO 3.15pm)

English champions, Saracens, are also included in Pool 3, with tickets now on sale for all of Cardiff Blues' home fixtures.
