Kids for a £1 and students for a £5 at Cardiff Blues v London Irish

29th January 2013

LV=Cup action returns to the Arms Park this Friday, when Cardiff Blues take on London Irish, 7:30pm kick off

The Blues started their LV=Cup campaign with a win over London Wasps in Round One and now take on London Irish in the Round Four match. London Irish are currently top Pool 3 while the Blues need a bonus point win to go to the top of Pool 2 and hope other results go tier way.

Young supporters can come to cheer on their team at the bargain price of only £1, while students can come to watch the game for only £5. Adult tickets for the match start at only £12 and senior tickets from only £8.

There will also be plenty of activities off the pitch with live music, player signings and face painting in our Heineken Fan Zone. With a number of bars our Heineken Fan Zone opens 90 minutes before kick off and remains open an hour after the final whistle.

Speaking ahead of the match, young Cardiff Blues fly half Rhys Patchell said,

“We’re all looking forward to playing London Irish in the LV=Cup.”

“The Blues have a number of ticket initiatives for this match such as kids for a quid and a discount price for students.”

“It should be a good game and we are relatively pleased with our performance so far in that competition.”

“We won the first game back at the Arms Park against London Wasps where we showed a lot of determination and the character that we have in the squad, hopefully we can do the same against the Irish.”

Tickets for the match are available now over the phone on 029 20 30 20 20, in person at the Ticket Office or online at www.cardiffblues.com/tickets
