Heart of Wales strolled to a 29 0 win over Afon nedd at Abercwmboi R.F.C with a very determined and efficient performance.
With a long season behind them and injuries in double figures Heart of Wales U14 could have relaxed but as this was their last time playing together and it seemed they wanted to leave lasting memories.
Afon Nedd although under strengthed could not come to terms with the collectiveness of play as backs and forwards combined well to score 5 superb tries and 2 able conversions from Thomas Pascoe. Lee Gunter, Jordan Gardener, Jack Perkins, Darren Harris and Cory McCabe all went over the white wash. But this team has been unbeaten since March 2004 with the record of played 22 lost 4 drew 1 and won 17 re-enforces their ability.
This team consists of some very special individuals, and always worked hard for each other. With the right guidance many of these players can do well and hopefully those who are not with at this age grade next year will make it to the Blues North squad.
