European Challenge Cup goes on tour!

Cardiff Blues are pleased to confirm details of trophy tour, which will see the European Challenge Cup on display in a number of events across the region.

Wales’ Capital Region clinched the prized silverware with an historic 31-30 victory over Gloucester in Bilbao last month.

To celebrate the achievement, the Blues will be taking the cup to community events throughout the summer, having already put it on display at the Land Rover Cup, the Cardiff Blues Primary School Tag Rugby Festival and Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival.

European Challenge Cup schedule:

•    Saturday, June 2 – Depot in the Castle
•    Sunday, June 3 – Cardiff Chiefs mixed ability rugby
•    Monday, June 18 – Friday, June 29 – Cardiff Commitment Open Your Eyes Week
•    Friday, June 29 – Cardiff Schools Rugby awards
•    Saturday, June 30 – Tafwyl at Cardiff Castle
•    Wednesday, July 11 – WRU and URDD Beach Rugby Festival at Barry Island
•    Thursday, July 12 - Cardiff Blues Beach Rugby Festival at Cardiff Bay
•    Saturday, July 14 – Cardiff Blues Summerfest at CAP
•    Monday, July 23-Thursday, July 26 – Royal Welsh Show at Builth Wells
•    Friday, August 3-Friday, August 10 – Eistedfodd.
