The record for tickets sales for a Heineken Cup match at the Arms Park has also been broken, it stood at 13,329 when Cardiff RFC took on Saracens in the 2000/01 season.
The Blues highest attendance for a match stands at 15,327 when they beat Leinster in the thrilling match at the Millennium Stadium last May setting a Celtic League attendance record.
