Excitement for the biggest games of the Pro Rugby season in Wales is building as we get ready for the intensity, rivalry and passion of the festive Welsh derbies!

Our Welsh derby fixtures continue to be high points in the season. Last season saw a record Judgement Day double derby crowd of 52,762 – biggest in PRO12 history. Welsh derby crowds in Wales grew by more than 30,000 last season – that’s more than 161,035 supporters who enjoyed our Welsh regional derbies, an increase of 24%.
The festive action kicks off with the big derby in the West on Boxing Day as the Scarlets host the Ospreys in a match that’s never fails to ignite spirits on and off the field!
The Newport Gwent Dragons then host their rivals in the East as the Cardiff Blues travel to Rodney Parade on December 27th.
To celebrate the arrival of 2016, our New Year’s Day fixtures see all four teams in action on the same day – as the Ospreys take on Newport Gwent Dragons at the Liberty Stadium and the Cardiff Blues host Scarlets at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
