The second Cardiff Blues Community Coaching night took place on Monday at Beddau RFC.
The open coaching night was based on the 'set piece' with David Young, Director of Coaching and Richard Webster, Forwards Coach working with the Beddau 1st XV.
The Clinic is part of the Cardiff Blues strategy of involving the clubs more in Blues activities and over 150 people attended who were eager to develop new ideas and techniques. David Young demonstrated in detail various aspect of scrummaging while Richard Webster worked with the forwards on the line-out.
Richard Hodges - Community & Coach Manager for the Cardiff Blues said, The knowledge that Dai and Richard can pass on to all the coaches whether they be in mini, junior, schools, youth or even up to semi professional is invaluable and is sure to benefit all the coaches who attended the session. We had a great turn out and will be holding more sessions throughout the season.
