Blues and Scarlets supporters have the chance of a double bill of rugby entertainment at Parc y Scarlets this Saturday afternoon as both regions look to secure a place in the semi-finals of the LV=Cup.

Cardiff Blues travel to Parc y Scarlets for the match (KO 3pm), knowing that they must match what Harlequins do against Gloucester to reach the semi finals.

Following on from the highly-charged Welsh derby, Parc y Scarlets will then host the big Six Nations opening contest between England and Wales on screens around the stadium complex. The game will be shown on big screens in the Scarlets 2,000 capacity indoor supporters village ‘The Delme Thomas’.

The indoor centre at Parc y Scarlets has been a big hit this season with home and away supporters who mix in the new ‘Supporters Village’ on match days.

The large 70 x 40m training centre is transformed to become a hub for home and away supporters with hog roasts, bar, refreshments, music and entertainment, inflatables for children and mini rugby skills sessions as well as a family beer garden.

The added entertainment is free to all those with a match ticket or Scarlets season ticket.

The feast of Welsh rugby this Saturday will give everyone the opportunity of an exciting family day out for those wanting to cheer on the Scarlets and Wales in the same afternoon.

And to mark to the region’s growing female support, the Scarlets will be hosting a Scarlets’ Ladies Day on Saturday afternoon. Designed with female rugby supporters in mind, the Scarlets will offer groups of ladies the chance to enjoy pre-match cocktails in a hospitality lounge, a hot meal with chocolate fountain, waiter service and a special presentation by Scarlets players.

Julie David, Marketing and Hospitality Manager at the Scarlets said: “We are planning for a great match day at Parc y Scarlets this Saturday, with two crucial games of rugby for our supporters to enjoy from the stadium.

“We want to make Saturday a feast of entertainment for rugby fans of all ages and particularly for our ladies who have the chance to treat themselves to rugby and a bit more with our special Ladies Day promotion.”
