The Blues Under 18 team start the season with a home match against Northampton on Thursday 9 August 1pm kick off at Abercwmboi RFC
Speaking ahead of the match Cardiff Blues Academy Manager, Richard Hodges, said, “This is the first of four pre season games we will be playing with the others against Gloucester, Munster and Leicester.”
“The forty boys in squad will be given the opportunity to play over these four games and then the squad will be reduced after Leicester game to 30-32 players.”
“We will also be reducing the Junior U18 Academy squad after the Leicester game and these matches will be a real test against quality opposition.”
