Jacob Beetham hopes Wales under-20 can complete their Six Nations campaign in style as they host Scotland at Stadiwm Zip World on Friday.
The Cardiff Blues academy member starred at full back as his side claimed a stunning victory over England at Gloucester’s Kingsholm.
The former Cardiff and Vale College student was forced off with an injury during the second half after being tackled in the air by opposite number Freddie Steward, which resulted in a yellow card for the Leicester Tigers youngster.
However, Beetham was left proud of his side’s effort to claim their second win on the bounce and has thoroughly enjoyed his first campaign at this level.
“It was a really good performance from the boys and a really good team effort.
“I was gutted to go off early, but I’m just really happy that we got the win in the end.
“As soon as I caught the first high ball, I felt comfortable and I felt in the game from then onwards.
“It was a matter of just taking them as they came.
“It’s been really good so far. It’s a step up from what I’ve played before but it’s a really good experience to play in this competition.
“Hopefully I can get more games at this level in the future.
“Even if I don’t play against Scotland next week, hopefully the boys can put in a big shift and finish off the last three games of the campaign with wins.”
