Jenkins returns to Wales squad as Anscombe retains number 10 jersey

8th November 2018

Gareth Anscombe will retain the Wales number 10 jersey as Warren Gatland's side prepare to take on Australia in the 2018 Under Armour Series.

The Cardiff Blues outside half starred in last week's 21-10 victory over Scotland, setting up tries for George North and Jonathan Davies.

Ellis Jenkins makes a return from injury, and is included on the bench alongside regional team-mates, Tomos Williams and Dillon Lewis.

Prop, Lewis, was another who impressed against Gregor Townsend's side last week, but is replaced by Tomas Francis at tighthead prop.

Gatland has made a total of three changes for the Wallabies Test - with Josh Adams and Adam Beard replacing Luke Morgan and Cory Hill respectively.

British and Irish Lions duo, Dan Biggar and Liam Williams, who represent Northampton Saints and Saracens, are both included in the matchday 23 for the first time during this campaign.
