Scully called up for USA duties

26th October 2017

Blaine Scully has been named in USA Eagles' squad for their upcoming autumn international fixtures.

The Cardiff Arms Park favourite has won 34-international caps to date, representing his country at two Rugby World Cups.

The Eagles will be under the guidance of interim head coach, Dave Hewett, who takes the reins ahead of the arrival of Worcester Warriors director of rugby, Gary Gold, who has also had spells with Newcastle Falcons, Bath and Natal Sharks.

USA kick off their tour at Frankfurt, where they take on Germany on November 18, before a trip to Tbilisi a week later, where they will face Georgia on November 25.

It will be the first time that USA take on Germany on the rugby pitch, with the Eagles' set to play host in a reverse fixture in June.

Former Cardiff Blues utility forward, Cam Dolan, has also been included in the Eagles' squad.
