Travel Information: Edinburgh v Cardiff Blues

Cardiff Blues travel to Myreside on Friday to take on Edinburgh Rugby in a crucial Guinness PRO12 clash, and with Wales facing Scotland in the RBS 6 Nations at BT Murrayfield on Saturday, it promises to be a weekend of non-stop rugby action at the Scottish capital. Here are some useful advice to Cardiff Blues travelling supporters.

Tickets

Edinburgh Rugby have advised Cardiff Blues supporters to buy their match tickets in advance and early, in order to secure a seat at the 5,500 capacity stadium.

Pre-bought tickets can be collected from the Myreside ticket office from two hours prior to kick off.

Travel

If travelling by public transport, please visit Traveline Scotland in order to plan your journey in advance.

There are a number of bus services available within a short walk of Myreside, and these are operated by Lothian Buses, while the nearest railway station is located to the West of the stadium, at Slateford, and is approximately a 20 minute walk.

Car Parking

There is no public parking available at Myreside with the exception of blue badge parking.  Edinburgh strongly encourage visiting fans to make use of the public transport options and match day Park & Ride facilities. 

Stadium Access

Gates open 90 minutes prior to kick off.
