Matthew Rees today appeared before an independent Disciplinary Hearing in London following his red card in the European Rugby Challenge Cup Round 2 fixture with Harlequins at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
Rees was suspended for seven weeks following the hearing, that was led by independent Judicial Officer Pat Barriscale (Ireland). Rees is free to play again from Monday, 11 January 2016.
Cardiff Blues has noted the outcome of today’s discipline hearing and the subsequent suspension of Matthew Rees.
