Scrum half Lloyd Williams admits the Cardiff Blues are looking forward to coming home this Saturday as they face champions Glasgow Warriors in the Guinness PRO12 (kick-off 3pm).
Cardiff Blues have spent the last five games on the road – with BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park transformed into an Official Fanzone during the Rugby World Cup.
But now they come home and for Wales international Williams it is the perfect lift as Danny Wilson’s men seek a return to winning ways.
“We’re all looking forward to coming home and playing in front of our fans,” he said.
“Zebre was a bad day at the office and we can’t repeat that. Everyone knows it was unacceptable and it is something we need to sort now.
“In Ireland there were some good performances, we should have beaten Munster away and a yellow card cost us in Ulster.
“I’ve enjoyed the environment I have come back into,” he added. “Things have changed under Danny Wilson and it’s for the better.
“The internationals have come back in now and I think it’s important that they take responsibility and help drive up standards.
“Standards are being pushed up by Danny and it’s nice to have pressure in training every day – the senior players coming in now need to add to that.”
