1st April 2015

Centre Tom Isaacs and wing Lucas Amorosino were the special guests as Day Two of our Easter half-term Blues Rugby Camps took place at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.

Over 100 children are at the home of the Blues this week for a three-day rugby camp and today they got to learn from two first team stars.

Isaacs and Amorosino dropped into meet the young rugby hopefuls, take part in a Q&A session and then sign autographs.

Earlier in the day, there was an added bonus for the youngsters as Gareth Anscombe, Simon Humberstone and Lloyd Williams made a surprise visit during tag rugby sessions.

Children, aged between six and 14-years-old, from right across our region have been given the opportunity to participate in rugby during the Easter holidays.

Nadine Griffiths, Community Rugby Manager at Cardiff Blues, said: “Day two of the rugby camp was a huge success and it was fantastic to see Tom, Lucas, Gareth, Simon and Lloyd here to meet the children.

“We now have just the final day to go when we have another international star from the Blues coming down to take part and ensure our Easter Rugby Camps are memorable for every young player.”
