Cardiff Blues Under-18s produced an impressive display on home turf as they defeated RGC 29-3 in a WRU Regional Age Grade fixture at the Arms Park on Sunday afternoon.
Fly half James Whittingham contributed 14 points, including a second half try, while Josh Rogers, Harri Collier and Dan Holder also crossed the line for Blues.
Whittingham gave Blues a seventh minute lead with a penalty before the opening try at the midway point of the first half from Rogers gave the hosts a 10-3 lead at the break.
Two tries in eight second half minutes, from Whittingham and Collier, ensured the win and a further score from front row replacement Holder in the closing stages wrapped up victory.
