Rhys Captains The Blues In Italy

The Blues team to play the crucial Heineken Cup play-off against Viadana on Sunday (kick off 5.00pm BST) at Stadio Invernici, Brescia shows five changes from the side that started the final league game of the season.

Director of Coaching, David Young has named Rhys Williams as captain for the Blues, who fly out to Italy Saturday morning.

Five players unavailable for selection are Gethin Jenkins, Tom Shanklin, Martyn Williams and Kort Schubert due to Lions & international call-ups along with Chris Czekaj, who is not registered for European action.

Since the Blues ended the Celtic League with home victories against The Borders and Ulster, the players have been in intense training in preparation for this game and are relishing the prospect of securing Heineken Cup qualification with victory on Sunday.
