Coach David Young says that the Blues 22-7 win over Sale Sharks confirms his side's improvement in Europe this season.
"We have shown in this year's tournament that we can compete with the best", he said.
"At the start of the seasson we were, according to some critics, the worst regional squad in Wales. Well, we have answered a lot of questions. Now we must kick on from here, climb the Celtic League table, and make sure we qualify for next season's Heineken Cup."
Young also praised fly-half Nick Robinson, voted Heineken Man-of-the-Match, for what he called "the second good performance in a row".
