Creative print specialist, Pink Panther, appointed official branding and signage partner for the Cardiff Blues

Caerphilly based bespoke print specialist, Pink Panther, have been appointed by the Cardiff Blues as their official print branding and signage partner. The five figure deal will see the company provide the rugby region with all of its large format print and signage requirements for the 2012/13 season.

Having taken the decision to return permanently to the Arms Park following their three years at the Cardiff City Stadium, the Blues are undertaking a re-branding of their former home including replacing all of the signage, sponsorship boards and advertising hoardings. Over 300 items of branded print will be produced and installed in time for the start of the new season, with the directional signage having being installed in time for the Blues recent friendly against Worcester Warriors, the former club of the Blues’ new Director of Rugby, Phil Davies.

Pink Panther, which also supplies large format print and signage for the Millennium Stadium, is building a strong reputation for itself within the world of sport. In recent years it has provided branded print solutions for several major sporting events including the WRU Autumn International rugby series, the Heineken Cup Final, the Wales Open and The Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor as well as preparing the Millennium Stadium to host the Olympic football matches. The company also works regularly with many well-known brands including Under Armour, Scarlets, The Principality Building Society, SWALEC, Brains and S4/C.

Jon Stephens, Managing Director of Pink Panther said, “We are delighted to have been appointed as the print branding and signage partner for the Cardiff Blues in what is a very exciting season for the region with the return to the Arms Park. We have worked with the Blues on numerous occasions over the past few years and are proud to have agreed a formal partnership with them.”

Richard Holland, Chief Executive of the Cardiff Blues commented “The team here at the Blues have worked closely with Pink Panther on the project to re-brand the Arms Park so that it is ready for the new season. We have been extremely impressed with the service they have provided especially their ability to work to very tight deadlines and the high quality of work that they have produced. We look forward to continue working with them as our partner throughout the coming season.”
