Cardiff Blues team up with Ruby Tuesday

12th October 2012

Cardiff Blues are delighted to announce a new partnership with the American casual dining chain Ruby Tuesday

The first UK restaurant opened in August 2010 at the St David’s Shopping Centre in Cardiff. Cheltenham opened in June 2012, the second UK restaurant for brothers Stephen and Gary Mayo who secured the UK franchise for the Tennessee based chain in 2010.

Ruby Tuesday is named after the Rolling Stones song of the same name. It all started in 1972 with a Burger (now a classic) in Nashville, Tennessee USA. Now there are over 800 locations worldwide.

The menu boasts specialities such as the 49 item Endless Fresh Garden Bar, Endless Fries with most entrée’s, cooked from scratch in-house Fork-Tender Ribs, a wide selection of fresh Seafood and Pasta dishes, plus Hand Crafted Lemonades (which are to die for!) and Signature Cocktails.

Stephen Mayo said: “We spotted a gap in the market for this type of restaurant featuring simple, fresh American dining. Both Cardiff and Cheltenham have got off to a fantastic start and we currently negotiating on our 3rd site that will be announced shortly.

Ruby Tuesday are delighted to offer the following discounts to our supporters:

• 20% Discount on all food ordered to anyone presenting their match day ticket at the restaurant on a Cardiff Blues match day.

• 20% Discount on all food ordered to all Cardiff Blues season ticket holders for the duration of the season.
