You can take the boy out of Cardiff, but you cant take Cardiff out of the boy never has this been more apt than for Jon Baldwin of Alexandria, Virginia, USA who has purchased two Premier Club seats at the new home of Cardiff City and Cardiff Blues being built in Leckwith.
Jon was born and brought up in Cardiff, but now lives in the States, running his own company called Wye River Holdings PLC (named after the picturesque Wye River Valley) a company that invests in and promotes technology companies. He is a keen supporter of both Cardiff City and Cardiff Blues and wasnt about to let the small matter of the Atlantic Ocean get in his way of supporting the clubs he loves.
Jon says: I am still a strong supporter of UK football and Rugby Union and am a massive fan of Cardiff City and the Blues, albeit from a distance. I saw the new stadium and the chance to buy Premier Club seats as the perfect opportunity to keep in touch with my favourite teams, which is why I purchased two dual code seats.
He adds: I will try to fly over for as many games as possible but the great thing about the Premier Club seats is for the games I cant make I can let friends, family and business acquaintances watch in my place - as long as they are cheering on the side in blue obviously.
