The season starts the weekend of 6 September with an intriguing tussle as the Cardiff Blues take on Magners League champions Leinster.
Once again local derbies will be held over the Christmas/New Year period, whilst the season will conclude the weekend of 16 May, in time to avoid any potential clash of dates with the opening fixture of the British & Irish Lions Tour to South Africa.
These fixtures are weekend only dates; specific dates, kick-off times and in some cases venues, will be released later in conjunction with broadcast partners and individual teams.

Cardiff Blues supporters can purchase season tickets that cover all Magners League matches as well as all Heineken Cup and EDF Energy Cup pool matches played at the Arms Park.
Season ticket holders will also have free entry to the pre season friendly match against the Northampton Saints on Friday 29 August 7.30pm kick off, as well as being entered into the International ticket allocation system.
Junior season tickets are also fantastic value from only £35 for 15 matches, including the Heineken Cup matches against former European cup finalists Biarritz Olympique, English powerhouses Gloucester and Italian champions Calvisano.
Adult season tickets start at £170 for terrace and family stand and £235 for Grandstand tickets. Concessions are available for students and seniors with prices at £140 for terrace and family stand and £190 for the Grandstand.
