Fans Encouraged to Turn Up Early for Canada Clash

14th November 2008

With ticket sales for Friday's Invesco Perpetual clash between Wales and Canada rapidly approaching the 50,000 mark, rugby fans are being encouraged to turn up early to avoid a last minute rush.

The match kicks of at 7.30pm and with 1,500 sales daily in the lead-up to the match, a late walk-up is anticipated by Welsh Rugby Union. However the WRU is hoping fans will heed their advice and turn up for the game in plenty of time to avoid any last minute congestion.

Tickets can be purchased from two locations to give fans options in buying their ticket ahead of the match:

- from the Cardiff Blues match day ticket office portakabin (opposite the Angel Hotel) up until kick off.

- tickets can be obtained by calling Ticketline (02920 230130) which is open to personal callers until kick-off or in person at their premises at 47 Westgate Street.

Tickets already purchased are available for collection from the Ticket Office at Gate 3 of the Millennium Stadium from 8am tomorrow
