With James Down, Scott Andrews, Josh Navidi, Lewis Jones and Alex Cuthbert having already put pen to paper for next season Cardiff Blues Director of Rugby Phil Davies, is pleased with the retention policy at the Blues
Speaking at the Vale training centre, Davies, said,
“We have been working hard to get our young players to re-sign, who we feel are the future of the region.
“The idea is to get twenty-five young players to commit to three years and then we can try and build some momentum on the field.
“Scott and Josh are players I know well and I believe they are an important part of this squad moving forward.
“We have come along way this year with the group and we are pretty happy with what we have achieved. We have made huge progress in all sorts of ways.
“The majority of recruitment has been focused upfront and we are pretty confident we will improve next season.”
