The Blues' squad resume training on Saturday and will train every day up to and including Christmas Eve in preparation for the Celtic League match against the Warriors on 27 December.
Coach David Young said,
"The squad had had a few days' break this week but we will meet again on Saturday and every dy after that until Christmas.
"Fortunately, we haven't picked up too many new injuries and one or two longer-term unavailabilities are returning to action. Two of our hookers, Andrew Lewis and Rhys Thomas, have a 50-50 chance of being ready next week while Rob Appleyard, Jonny Vaughton and Nick Macleod are definitely fit again."
The Blues' team to play the Warriors will be announced exclusively on this website on 24 December. Meanwhile several Blues' development and dual-registered players are included in the Cardiff team to play Llandovery this Saturday, 20 December. Ken Fourie and Ben Evans will also play on permit.
